Internet Terms & Conditions

This is the Official AMEX Website. At present we can accept orders for delivery to world wide.

1) Products
a. The products shown on this Website are authentic and cover a selection of designs available through our stores
Germany.

Product dimensions are approximate and for information only.
c. Colours shown are as accurate as Internet technology allows but there is likely to be / may be some variance as colours cannot be reproduced exactly on your monitor.
d. We may change product specifications, without notice, but please see our refunds policy below.

2) Terms of Purchase and Security
a. All orders are subject to stock availability and payment clearance.
b. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Prepayment and PayPal.
c. Online payment transactions will be processed using Lufthansa Bank's secure credit card payment system (128 bit SSL). This is one of the most commercially secure systems in use. In the unlikely event that unauthorised use is made of your card, the card issuers will normally cover the cost of all unauthorised use or limit your liability to 50.00 ¤

3) Prices
a. Prices are recommended retail price. To this we add insured postage and packing charges of 22.00¤ (Euro) for Europe.
b. All prices include VAT, currently at the rate of 16%. For customer outside EU are the prices without VAT.
c. Payment is in Euro only.

4) Delivery
a. Orders placed before
12pm weekdays will be despatched for next working day* delivery**
* International Orders are normally delivered within 7-10 days).

b. Purchases will be despatched by DHL.

c. If there is likely to be a long delay, for example if our warehouse is awaiting stock, then we will notify you. You can then cancel within 7 days and obtain a full refund by emailing or writing to us. Provision of the refund will discharge us from any and all liability for failure to deliver items ordered or to deliver them within the stated period. If you choose not to cancel and wait for delivery instead, we will try and achieve this quickly, but cannot accept any liability for failing to do so as fresh stock sometimes takes a few weeks to reach our warehouse.

d. You will be asked to sign for the delivery and this will be used as proof of delivery. If someone without authority signs for the product at the address you have given us, then this will be your responsibility.

5) Returns
a. We believe you will be totally satisfied with your AMEX purchase. If in the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase you may return the product to us for a refund. However this refund is not available if we reasonably expect that the item has been worn or the product is returned without its original packaging, including the clear protective wrap, or if you don't include your receipt. Alternatively you may ask for an exchange for the same or a different model. An exchange does not apply if we expect that the item has been worn or damaged in any way. If you are changing models, then there may be a price differential to be accounted for. Please note that for hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable and non-refundable.
b. Your request for a refund must reach us within 14 days or within 28 days for an exchange.
c.In the unlikely event that you receive your item(s) in a faulty/damaged state, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods, these items will be dealt with in accordance with our returns procedure. Please note that refunds and exchanges do not apply if we reasonably expect that the item has been worn or damaged in any way.
d.. Refunds and exchanges for Internet purchases cannot be obtained from AMEX stores. Please inform us of any query by e-mail and return the items by post to: AMEX Corp. Am Hasenkopf 15, D-77839 Lichtenau,
Germany. We aim to make the refund or exchange within 10 days of receipt of the returned goods. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment.
f. We will deduct the cost of post and packaging (outwards and, if relevant, inwards) from the refund amount if you return the product due to personal preference, as opposed to some defect with the product.

6) Product Care and Servicing
a. If you require a strap alteration and are unable to obtain this service locally fro
m a AMEX store, please return the watch in secure packaging but not the tin, to our service department. Please include the strap alteration instructions that were sent to you with the purchase and post by insured post to our address.
b. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the care and maintenance of your AMEX product, please call our customer help line on +49-7227-50590-0 and one of our customer care people will be happy to help you.

7) Warranty
a. You will obtain the same guarantee against defective materials and workmanship on any model, as we give for that model through a retail store sale. Please see the guarantee card that will be sent to you with the product for further details.
b. The terms of purchase do not affect your statutory rights.

8) Data Protection / Privacy / Emails
a. We take protection of your privacy and data seriously and recognise our duty to keep information about you safe and secure.
b. For fuller description on our approach to these issues, please see our separate Privacy Policy on this Website.
c. By "Checking Out" from our Shopping basket, and therefore Pressing OK to agree with our Terms and Conditions, you consent to receive communications from the AMEX group. (these may take the form of Postal Mail, Email or other methods). You may at any time wish to opt out from these communications by emailing Shop@amexco.net specifying your needs.

9) Design and Trade Mark Protection
All our products are protected against copying by domestic and international law. We reserve all of our rights concerning our trade marks, copyrights and designs. Copying of any product in any form will be an infringement of our intellectual property rights and is strictly prohibited.

10) General
a. We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.
b. There may be mistakes, inaccuracies or other errors in the information on this Website. For example the information may be out of date or incomplete in some way. If there is an aspect of your purchase that is particularly important to you, which will not be covered by our Return Policy, you are advised to visit one of our AMEX shops to make the purchase.

c. This site is being hosted and made available to you from Germany. German Government and the Courts of Germany have exclusive jurisdiction.
